As I have mentioned in my bio, I am artisticly involved with music. I started out by playing the alto saxophone in the school band when I was in fifth grade. Then I started to sing karaoke with my cousin when I was in seventh grade. This was also the time that I wrote my first song. Then it lead to another song, and another. Most of them were trash but there were some hidden gems. That then led to me switching over to singing in the choir from eighth grade all the way until I graduated high school in 2014. I was in high school choir, made it into show choir, and I was also heavily involved in the after school acapella group. We went to a few different competitions and festivals. I was also the varsity cheerleading captain in high school and I would always be asked to sing the National Anthem at every home game, so I did. I was then asked to drive hours away to perform the National Anthem at our girls basketball team's national championship game in front of hundreds of people. I was also broadcasted on the radio that day. After graduating high school, I tried out for the T.V. show The Voice. I taught myself how to play the ukulele during this time. When I got into college, I lost my touch with singing. The only chances that I got to sing were in the car or in the shower and that was about it. Singing and being involved with music is something that I have always had a love and passion for. Music is my motivation when it comes to being an artist as well. It keeps me inspired and allows me to inspire others.

I met a guy at work. Joshua Evan Rose is the name. I never took interest into his personal life until about a year and a half into working with him. Then one day we started talking about Justin Bieber's Purpose album. ( For those of you who have not heard it, you are really missing out. One of the best of all time.) Then that started a spark and interest between us. I then found out that this guy I have been working with for almost two years now has been rapping and creating music for about just as long as I have. He said he wrote his first rap song in seventh grade; I had no idea. He also mentioned that he used to be involved in a duo group with his friend where they would write songs and record in his friends closet. The music group was called Stuntaway. Then we started to hang out and he would invite his friends over and they would freestyle rap. His writing is completely beautiful. I was totally in shock. WHERE IN THE HECK HAS THIS MAN BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE? Idk. Well, a few months later he asked me to be his girlfriend. Needless to say I am the luckiest girl in the entire world. We have now been dating for five or six months and I am madly in love with this man. Not only do we have a love for music, we have a love for each other and have a relationship and friendship that is like no other.

When we got together, I told Josh that he should do more with music. I told him that he was too talented to waste it. So then him and his friend Ronnie Hitt (previous friend from Stuntaway) got back into the studio and decided to create an EP. For those of you who may not know, an EP is a shorter version of an album (usually around 4-6 songs). So that is what this entire summer has consisted of. Ronnie & Josh have made a 9 song EP that is dropping on Friday, December 1st. I have been to every studio session. I have been involved with the entire process. I redesigned their logo, got shirts made with the logo on it for them, and have been a supporter and helper throughout the entire journey. I may be biased, but they have some TRUE TALENT. They are absolutely amazing. Since I have been a part of this process, they involved me on the EP. My voice and my lyrics will be on two of their tracks. This led me back into my passion and love for singing and for music. I finally feel happy and like myself again. Out of this experience, I have learned a lot, had an absolute blast, got to recreate their brand, had the opportunity to do a photoshoot of them, and I got the opportunity to record in a studio for the first time in my life. Not only have I been involved as a musical artist, I have also been involved as a designer and as a photographer. What a dream come true.

The whole point of this blog post is to simply state that if something is meant to be in your life, it will be. Never lose hope or give up on your passion. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS. NO DREAM IS TOO BIG. Be inspired, motivate others, and great things will come your way.  I also want to encourage everyone who is reading this to purchase Stuntaway's Up 2 Somethin EP on December 1st from any internet platform. Thank you for the love and support in advance.
