Ashley Jane Designer Interview

Today I had the pleasure to interview one of my designer friends, Ashley Jane. She is someone that I have had the chance to meet and grow close with thanks to college. She is a great designer and loves what she does. I just want to let you guys know a little bit about her so you have the chance to see for yourself how great she is!

Where are you from? Cincinnati, Ohio

What are you watching right now? I’m not really watching anything currently.

What are you reading right now? I don’t have a lot of time to read right now but when I do, I read “The Attributes of God” by A.W. Pink

What is your favorite medium to work with? Digital

Which social media platform is your favorite? Why? Instagram because I am a visual person and I understand things better when its visual.

3 things you can’t live without? The Bible, My Mom, and Art.

What is your major? Visual Communication and Design

What do you do to procrastinate? I usually knit or watch Downton Abbey.

What helps you focus? Listening to something that I am familiar with such as a movie or music. I also keep focused by looking at other peoples art.

Music or no music in the studio? Music

Biggest pet peeve in the art world that you have? People stealing other people’s art.

What is your dream job? Freelance Graphic Designer

What advice do you have for other artists? Keep striving because even if you fail, those failures are the reason for making you a better artist.
